DESCRIPTION: 

The Magpul Masada is a combination build of all of the best design elements from recent weapons,
using the gas system from an AR-18, upper receiver style and charging handle design of the SCAR,
trigger system from the M16, and the heavy use of polymer externals as seen in the G36.
The rifle was designed to be a replacement for the M16/M4 in use by the US army - it is not currently
being adopted by large numbers of military forces, Magpul sold the right to the rifle to bushmaster, and
since then the Masada part of the name has been dropped, it is available for purchase on the civilian market
with production of the weapon has continued late into 2014, and a DMR version has since been announced
available for purchase at around 2.7 thousand dollars.

ACR's are without doubt one of the most comfortable and user friendly rifles that are on the market today,
this is a fact. The design of the weapon makes them very easy to transition to from any shooting platform
and the general light weight and considerable accuracy/range make them an IDEAL choice for a skirmish rifle.
the A&K version sits at the lowest end of the price bracket ACR's fall into and in term of performance, it
is on par with higher end M4's or the more expensive CYMA AK's (CM.048 or newer)
There are a number of nice features included on the A&K version, the bolt locks to the rear and is released with
the bolt catch on the front of the trigger guard - this makes hop up adjustment very easy!
The barrel is quick-change and can be removed very easily in a way similar to the real rifle, the front flip up sight
is integral to the weapon with the rear being removable - this gives you the entire rear rail space for the mounting
of sights but then allows for the front sight to be used in conjunction with an optic if you so wish.
The stock not only extends, but also folds to the side of the weapon making it incredibly compact when you need it
to be - this is ideal for transporting the rifle as it is not exactly the shortest of weapons even with the stock retracted!

The body is held together with a number of push pins - there are no screws like you may find on some cheaper weapons,
the handguard is held in place with another simple push pin and can be removed for battery changes with ease!
this is a VERY well built rifle, the quality of the plastics used are very high and the metal used on the internals and on the
barrel is solid without any burrs or marks from assembly. The fire selector is also ambidextrous, as is the magazine release
and the bolt catch - making this an IDEAL rifle for anyone to use either left or right handed.

The accuracy and range of this weapon are phenomenal, it will easily outrange most M16's - Having owned one of these I
must say that the range must be seen to be believed, it is capable of putting 0.2's out at ranges similar to that of my Well
