DESCRIPTION: 

The M4 is a relatively modern rifle, with the current US Army version (the M4A1) being
introduced in 1994, It is a reliable and effective carbine that is IDEAL as a standard service
rifle as it is lightweight, accurate, and can be very quickly modified to suit any role on the
battlefield - The M4/16 platform can be used to make DMR's, Snipers, Rifles, Carbines.. etc.
The iconic shape of the M4 has become the symbol for the modern day assault rifle, it has
featured in almost every war game including the likes of Battlefield and Call Of Duty. It is
not only an immensely popular service weapon but also one of the bestselling sporting rifles
(The AR15 version) ever made. It is even popular in the UK as a sport rifle in the correct legal
configuration. 

A slightly more conventional M4 from Dboys, the 5781 is an M4 in its shortest factory configuration -
this is great for CQB as it means the rifle is very easy to move around from one target to the next,
however - this weapon is just as much at home out on a woodlands site as it is indoors! The rail system
mounted to this weapon works on similar principle to the S-system ones found on other versions of the M4.
The top part of the rail system is mounted to the top part of the receiver to stop any wobble or twist that
most M4's experience at some point in their lives. This model includes a rear sight from a SCAR, fully
adjustable for windage and elevation this is a very nice touch and gives the rifle a slightly less "standard"
look. The body on this rifle features no trademarks - some people find this an advantage as there are no
ugly "Cal 6mm" markings, while others see this as an issue as they prefer the markings, Personally I am
not bothered either way, but should you prefer to have a body with authentic trademarks this is fully
compatible with external upgrades so this should not be a problem!

Being a higher end Dboys weapon the body is just as nice as you would expect, with the internals being
on par with the outsides!, The rail system is of course all metal, as are all the externals apart from the stock
and pistol grip. Internally the weapon uses a slightly newer V2 gearbox with 7mm bearings, the gearbox is
of course fully upgradable and can be configured any way you like (The weapon will also take "Drop in" pre-
set gearboxes as it fits most standard V2's)
