This is the Double Eagle M50A sniper rifle, which closely resembles the Remington Model 700.

This is the Version 3 with upgraded internals and a tighter bore barrel than previous versions giving it much better reliability and accuracy.

It is bolt action, just like its real counterpart with a smooth bolt pull and it has a fully functional safety.

It features two 20mm RIS rails (weaver rails), one on the top for mounting a scope, and one underneath, most suited to a bipod, however you could mount a laser or torch if desired.

One other unique feature is its adjustable stock, which comes with 3 layers to suit the shooters preference.

It also has an adjustable hop-up on the left of the barrel, which is easy to adjust without the need of tools.

The gun comes in two main pieces, the trigger assembly and barrel, and the high quality ABS stock in orange.

All the black parts and internals are metal, with the exception of the trigger guard.

It has a 400 fps with 0.2 gram BB pellets, however heavier ones such as 0.25g BBs will be more accurate. It has a stated range of 55-65 metres.

It is 1.1m long with an inner barrel length of 449mm; and the gun weighs 2900 grams (6lbs 6oz).

This gun is one of the best starter sniper rifles on the market.

It is high quality and offers good performance across the board.

The gun could be further improved with the investment of a quality telescopic scope and 20mm weaver mounts, and a bipod may just give you the ideal sturdy position to hit your enemies with ease.

Good for beginners and light combat use

The rifle works great, decent power and good accuracy. However if you’re and experienced player this gun cannot handle high stress use. For example rapid fire will take a toll on the trigger system forcing the compression spring to slip and make it unable to fire or even hold a cranked spring in place. As I said fantastic beginning gun as it’s light, strong stock and good proportional power and accuracy

As my first BBgun the Double Eagle M50A was an excellent choice of rifle. However after using it for roughly 6 months i have to mention some snags in the use of the rifle.

First up the adjustable hop up is a bit of a pain over long distances and for non-moving targets takes a while to find a setting that shoots straight ahead.

Secondly the purchase doesn't include a scope and has no iron sights. I'd suggest purchasing a scope for the 20mm weaver rail that suits you, because if not you are stuck with using the weaver rail as your sights (which isn't accurate or pleasant).

Lastly don't be too rough with the gun and don't tighten the screws which fix the metal firing mechanism and the ABS plastic too much, as when i did and tried to loosen it one of the screws broke and i spent half an hour removing it and replacing.
