Description

This futuristic looking DSR-1 from S&T is a bullpup style sniper rifle that has been seen in lots of popular video games and films lately, bbguns4less is proud to be the first website in the UK to offer this for sale ready for you to rock your airsoft site.

If you have not seen this before in the flesh, the first thing you will be shocked with is just how big, heavy, and intimidating it is. The Real DSR-1 is made by the German company DSR-Precision GmbH and used as a sniper rifle for police marksmen and the elite German GSG-9 counter-terrorist unit, it's also used by some other European elite police units for its exceptional accuracy and compact profile.

The DSR-1 is a bullpup design allows the rifle to have a longer match grade barrel for better accuracy, but with a shorter overall length, this gives the gun better manoeuvrability. It got a free-floating barrel with unusually the folding bipod mounted onto the upper rail (just above the barrel).

The DSR-1 has a fully adjustable rear stock and cheek piece, Also built into the stock is an adjustable rear monopod to help with stability that when used with the forward bipod gives you just about the most stable sniper rifle you could ever wish to use. The railed forward hand rest is also adjustable.

If you look closely, there is a holder for a spare magazine installed in the front of the trigger guard that I overlooked when I first saw it, but now I know its there its one of my favourite things about the gun. When listing the points to this weapon it really hits you how well thought out the design of this gun is and it's as though no stone was left unturned. (don't worry the spare mag is added as standard in this package)

The barrel of the gun is protected by a ventilated aluminium CNC handguard; The sniper also features an ambidextrous safety, located above the trigger guard. There is a rail on the top of the rifle for your optics and a small rail under the barrel for anything else you wish to add to it

The upper receiver and barrel are made from precision CNC machined aluminium, and the lower receiver and some other parts made out of fibre reinforced injection moulded polymer, the bipod is also metal, this rifle is big and heavy and VERY Realistic.

The rifle has a fast short travel bolt (about 4 inches) and forward magazine holder I spoke about before really helps to get your shots off fast with minimal loss of time in reloading, and it's powered by green gas the bolt cycle is very smooth, easy and beautiful to use.

As for the performance of this weapon it shoots at up to 600fps on 0.20g bb pellets, it also fires very quietly and straight once the hop up is set up right, with 10-inch groupings at about 170-200ft.

All in all, it is a really substantial and well-manufactured airsoft sniper rifle, and it feels like you could fire real rounds from the rifle if you wanted to.
