BACKYARD SPRINGER - GARDEN PLINKER, NOT PRACTICALLY SKIRMISHABLE
This is a fully licenced “replica” of the Taurus PT-111 Pistol. Taurus are known to allow the
production of numerous “cheap” airsoft versions of their weapons. The PT-111 is a very
small 9mm pistol using an internal hammer; it was intended as a concealed carry pistol
and as a backup weapon for an armed police officer. The real pistol makes use of a 12
round magazine which for the size of the pistol is quite impressive – for the purpose it
serves this pistol is designed extremely well; the internal hammer allows it to be stored
cocked and ready to fire on a person without them having to worry about snagging the
hammer on anything or getting it caught in such a way that causes it to shake loose and fire.
The internal safety on the PT-111 means that unless the trigger is pulled properly it will not
fire, dropping the weapon or bumping it off anything should not allow it to discharge.
Obviously being so cheap, this is not intended to be used in a skirmish – this is an IDEAL
garden pistol, the relatively low FPS of 180~200 means that you don’t run the risk of
smashing any pots or greenhouses you have, yet it is powerful enough to put a hole in
some paper and a positive dent in cardboard.
As with our range of introduction springers, this weapon is perfect for target shooting and
for training younger members of your family how to look after a weapon and how to be safe
when using one - simple things such as ensuring the magazine is empty after use, not pointing
it at anyone who doesn't have eye-pro on, etc. This does make a great gun for younger players
looking to choose their first gun of their "own" as it is surprisingly robust and well made, meaning
it should be able to survive its fair share of accidental knocks and bumps.
