Tokyo Marui Famas SV AEG in Black

The Famas SV (Super Version) was one of the first AEG's from Tokyo Marui on the market and is acknowledged as a great all-round and very adaptable assault rifle.

The weapon is Based off the French assault rifle (nicknamed "The Bugle"), The Famas is classed as a Bullpup weapon. (where the magazine behind the trigger) The reasoning behind this design is that it allows a long barrel to fit into a smaller gun giving better accuracy in woodland battles, also its short length is especially in useful in CQB (Close Quarters Battles) as well.

This AEG version of the replica famas is composed of heavy duty plastic and metal parts and as it comes from Tokyo Marui who are regarded as the rolls Royce of airsoft guns you know its going to be great.

The metal parts on this rifle include: the outer barrel, flash hider, trigger, trigger safety, front & rear sling mounts, top half of the bolt, everything else on the gun is mostly Plastic.

The handguard is quite big on the SV, and has large grooves for your fingers. The spring mag release is located behind the selector switch,

The Famas has a unique double-safety integrated into the rifle; the First safety is positioned immediately in front of the trigger (which, when lined up blocks the user's finger from pressing the trigger) and the other is found behind the magwell (where the Semi/Full toggle is.)
It also has a spring decompressor which, when pressed decompresses the AEG's spring and stops the spring from losing it's strength; this is a great feature when you're not intending on using the gun for a bit.

The trigger safety has three positions By Twisting the safety it also allows you to pull off and remove the guns handguard. To put it back on, you need to put the safety in the 1st or 2nd position. The spring mag release is located behind the selector switch.

The cocking bolt is metal, but It doesn’t have any function. The hopup of this airsoft gun is adjusted by separating the cheek rest from the gun, that can go on either the left or the right. The hop is a clock-like dial you turn it clockwise to turn it on. The cheek piece can be swapped to the right or left (depending if you're left or right-handed)

The weapon has a barrel length somewhere between M16 and AK length (about 475mm) excellent for CQB, particularly with its 30” length but it does perform adequately well in woodland.

The Famas holds the large type 8.4v batteries that's good because its possible to have a full day playing before your battery dies.

The power of this gun is approx 270-300 fps, and the also has an awesome ROF (Rate of Fire), spitting out a 1000 rounds per minute and empties the 68 round mag in seconds. (getting a 300 round Hi-cap mag is recommended) it makes a good support weapon and is pretty accurate; you can hit a man sized target at around 150 feet consistently.

All in all, it's a great gun. Being both Powerful & accurate but reliable and very durable
