DESCRIPTION

Another of WE's newer weapons, the GEN 3 1911's are something quite special, built to be an accurate replica
of the original 1911 pistol - the real m1911 was the standard issue US sidearm from the years 1911-1985,
and saw service throughout both world wars. This is one of the world's most iconic pistol designs,
and is a weapon all gun enthusiasts will recognise!

WE's take on the 1911 is fantastic, the replica weapon is the same size as the real thing and functions as
true to the original as possible in airsoft, the slide will blow back with each shot, priming the hammer ready
for the next, its slim design makes this incredibly comfy to hold and to aim with, and the simple, easy to
access safety make this an ideal weapon to pull out when your primary has run out of ammo.

The quality of this weapon is so much better than WE's earlier models, the construction of the lower receiver
is unfaultable and the weapon holds together exceptionally well, even after some heavy use in the field!
The magazine release is solidly built, along with the safety, meaning less time between replacement parts,
and more time shooting!

In terms of FEEL of the weapon, the grips are incredibly comfortable and stay true to the iconic 1911 style
textured diamonds, the trigger feels sturdy yet is not too firm, and the slide construction is dead-on ideal for this
price range of pistol. Being a standard size 1911, and not a high-cappa means that the body is kept slim
(like the real thing) - this allows the weapon to easily be fitted into drop-leg holsters, vest-holsters,
or even zipped into a pocket on some combat trousers!

All in all, this is a superb weapon for a very reasonable price - this would make a fantastic sidearm to
anyone looking to skirmish in woodlands OR CQB - the slightly longer barrel of the 1911 gives you that
little bit of extra accuracy needed to reach out and hit someone at the ranges field games are usually
played at, while the thinner frame keeps the weight down allowing you to hold the weapon firmly on target
thus meaning your shots stay stable for longer!
