SKIRMISH GRADE PISTOL - IDEAL FOR FIELD OR CQB
DESCRIPTION:
Made famous by its numerous appearances in video games and films alike, the Glock 18
is a select fire variant of the world renowned Glock 17 pistol. Originally requested by the
Austrian counter-terrorism uni EKO Cobra, the G18 went into production in 1986 with the
subsequent G18C model being a direct improvement of the original G18 – the C variation
features a cut slide and ported barrel allowing for better control when shooting fully
automatic, the cut in the slide allows gasses to be vented upwards through the ports in
the barrel allowing for much more manageable recoil.
WE Glocks are some of the most common pistols found within airsoft, and for good reason.
they are incredibly “friendly” to use as a first pistol due to the easy field strip feature and the
general availability of spare and upgrade parts. Externally everything on a Glock is very
easily to access, the slide release catch is directly above where your thumb sits, while the
magazine release is directly below – this allows for very fast and intuitive magazine changes
while still keeping the pistol pointed at your target.
WE are incredibly good at manufacturing gas side arms, WE alone make a huge variety of
different types of pistols including Glocks, High-cappas, 1911’s and many, many more.
because of this WE’s general build quality and FEEL of their pistols is absolutely incredible;
the Pistols feel fantastic when held and provide a very realistic shooting experience when
used. The recoil on all of their Glock models is crisp and fast; while not as hard kicking as
some other models, the speed at which the slide “snaps back” is incredibly fast allowing
the pistol to be shot rather rapidly even when on single-shot mode.
The pistol feels incredibly solid to hold, with possibly the BEST out of the box Glock lower
receiver available on the market; it feels incredibly thick and sturdy and has no give or
play anywhere on the pistol; even the slide has hardly any left/right wobble whatsoever.
All in all, a WE Glock is one of the most sensible choices for any player looking at choosing
a sidearm, regardless of if you have never skirmished or are a regular.
